True Laughter is Nothing But Heartfelt Prayer

When you begin your day in laughter and love, your life gets divinely enlivened. True prayer is laughing in the morning both from outside and from deep inside.

Laughter comes from the centre of our Being, from the core of our heart. Our belly is so full of laughter that the laughter permeates every cell in our body. True laughter is true prayer. When you laugh, the whole of nature laughs with you. It echoes and resounds and makes life worthwhile. When things go all right, everybody can laugh, but when everything falls apart, and yet you laugh, that is evolution and growth. Nothing in life is more worthy than your laughter.

Never lose it. Events come and go. Some are pleasant, and others, unpleasant. There is some area deep in you that is left untouched. Hold on to what is untouched. Then you will be able to keep laughing.

Sometimes you laugh just to avoid thinking or to avoid looking at yourself. But when you see and feel within that life is present and intense every moment, nothing can bother you or touch you. That laughter is authentic.

You might have observed babies, six months or one year old. When they laugh, their whole body is jumping and bouncing. Every cell in the body is laughing. That is enlightenment. That laughter is innocent, pure, without inhibitions.

Opinions are the impressions we make on our minds.

If we have one experience repeated four or five times, then, for the rest of our lives we tend to see life through those same experiences. We have not learnt how to retain that innocence so that our minds are not imprinted with definite opinions. We need to be able to see things as they are.

When life's essence blooms from within, there is true laughter akin to godliness. Godliness is a feeling of belonging. We all belong to one another. Laughter opens us up, opens the heart. And anytime we don't feel up to that innocence, what do we do?

"I feel tense, I don't feel that innocent or free. What do I do?"You can attend to several layers of your own existence. First, the body. See if you have rested, eaten, and had some exercise.

Then attend to the breath. Breath has its own rhythm. Every mood of the mind has a definite rhythm in the breath. By attending to the rhythm in the breath, mind and body can be elevated.

Then look at the concepts and opinions that hover in the mind. Good, bad, right, wrong, should do, shouldn't do, all these could bind you. Observe the thoughts. And then observe the feelings. Every thought is associated with some sensation, some feeling. Observe the sensation and feeling in the body.

Observe the rhythm in emotions. We commit the same old mistakes. I never say, "Don't make mistakes". I say, "Make at least some new mistakes". The pattern, the rhythm in emotion is the same; situations are different. It is like hanging the same coat on different hooks. You have the same pattern of emotions but you hang it on different causes, people, circumstances, situations. The peak of any emotion will lead you ultimately to yourself to your centre by helping you take off to space.

A wonderful new years eve

It was such a wonderful new year’s eve we had. On 31^stDecember 2011 we went to One Earth Retreat Center in Ciawi , West Java. Joininga new year’s eve program there held by Anand Ashram Foundation ( affiliatedwith UN ) made us so happy.

The program is regularly held each year with various kind oftheme, last theme was “Karma Yoga – from disasters to grace”. The program wereconducted by Zembry and Iu Haryadi, both showed a so called kaleidoscope ofthings happened during 2011 due to Anand Ashram activities.

There was also dance and role play which made the programmuch more fun.

Anand Krishna shared an inspirational speech to us in orderto live the year of 2012. We were so thankful about that. He said that we mustapply Karma Yoga lesson which means to do anything without self-interest justlike a mother who serves her best for her family.

Couple minutes before the clock strike 12 Anand Krishnaguided us to meditate and pray in order to welcome the new year. Such a lovely solitude. Many thanks BapakAnand Krishna…

Happy new year 2012, may He showers us with prosperous andhappiness. Amen…

A Word in My Head

There is a word that I need to find out about its meaning. Ihave been knowing the word but without knowing its meaning. I have neverthought about it before. However, lately the word keeps on my mind and seems askingme to try knowing further more.

I usually say this word whenever I call a customer care ofbanks where I have an account. sincethey will always ask question about your mother’s name before she is married. Yes,the word is my mother’s name.

Then, I when I join Anand Ashram, a place for people tomeditate in such modern methods there the word comes again. Over and over againI listen bhajans with the word in it.

I become curious even more….

The word which is my mother’s name is Namah. In Hinduism theword usually comes after Om and continued with Shivaya so it usually written asOm Namah Shivaya. And it is a popularmantra in Hinduism and particularly in Shaivism. Its translation is"adoration (namas) to Śiva", preceded by the mystical syllable"Aum".

I got that definition from Google. There I find out thatthere are 2 websites using the word Namah as its domain ( one with .net and theother using .com ).

From Namah.com here is what they say about Namah.

Namah in the pre-sanskrit language of Avesta means reverence and greeting.

Ialso try to click on Wikipedia to find about it. There are long explanationabout it.

Reflection in Ramadhan: "Hard Work is the real meaning behind the book titled " The Science of Getting Rich"

When I was reading the book titled The Science of Getting Rich written by Wallace D. there is a certain part in a book that caught my attention, Wallace says that nothing can replace what's called hard work, although we imagine the gold coin as high as mountains, the gold coin will not necessarily come down and rolling of top of the mountain and down the streets to get into our pockets.

No! Even Wallace emphasized that hard work is needed to be able to practice the contents of the book.

From the part of the book there is a conclusion that Wallace saw most of society is lazy, which is just happy to imagine without working to realize it. If we are lazy in fulfilling the basic necessities of life, then how about achieving something higher, such as peace?

Play around with the law of attraction is exciting, we feel like were in some degree at the level of spiritual journey, how wonderful. But actually if we are honest with ourselves, we are nothing more than a slacker who is very selfish, a selfish, regardless of whether we succeed in science practiced the law of attraction or not.

For the spiritual seeker, laziness is something that most evident, because a lot of actors pursuing more spiritual aspects of what is called 'divinity', so forget the aspect of 'non-god', but as long as there in the world and the body, then the aspect of 'non-god 'is still needed. Is it possible that our meal that we enjoy every day to support the necessities of life come easily just rolling from the mountains and perched at the dinner table?,

The spiritual seeker is the one which is able to enforce with his own two feet and walk down the world by himself. He is an independent man, one that relies on the potential that has been given by God to be able to meet all their needs in order to fill life with things that are higher.

One day Mullah Nasaruddin given the opportunity to have a dialogue with God because it has been 20 years since Mullah started to chant His name begging a gift from God to be satisfied all the necessities of life, but 20 years passed already, Mullah's sarong has changed 10 times, but life remains unchanged

Feeling sorry for him, God sent His angel to fetch Mullah to have a dialogue with Him, when he got in front of God, Mullah lamented: "O God, how could You did that to me? I've adored you all of 20 years, but Yout haven't given me much for my life, I am still poor"

The Lord sighed, and sipped his coffee. Smiling, the Lord asked, "Mullah, don't you have a beautiful voice?"

"Yes Lord, I always use it to glorify You"

God smiled again, before returned then He ask "Where do you get that beautiful voice?"

Mullah answered definitely, "From You God!

God laughed for a moment, "Then why do not you use it to meet your needs, do not you ever wondered why I gave such melodious voice to you?"

Often we do not realize that there is a huge potential that God has given as our tool to live in this earth, a friend of mine once said sharply saw my laziness "Look at your life, ragged. Is this a manifestation of God seeker?, Is not God All-rich, if you are close to Him at least he is able to make over you btter ".

His words were like lightning, but that's what happened. Often we hide behind the spiritual robe just to cover our laziness itself, this story is the story of my laziness, about our laziness. That we prefer comfort ourselves, playing with fantasy rather than exploring your own potential.

Witness testimony that often change onlyin a few minutes made the presiding judges of Anand Krishna's trial, AlbertinaHo became furious. sHe then consider not to take that testimony from the only witness present, Farahdiba Agustin,at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (13 / 7).

"The Witness was very wordy and inconsistent in givingher testimony so that Judge Albertino Ho said that her statement could be unused as a testimony,"thus revealed Dwi Ria Latifa SH, Anand Krishna's attorney before the South Jakarta District Court.

She also told that her breast was touched, but whenasked more detailed she then changed her statement and admitted that shepreviously dismissed it.

"Do not know which one is correct, or perhaps nothingis true, and it could be all just imagination," she said in a release received by CyberNews on Wednesday (13/ 7).

Ria Latifa said, it did not reflect the behavior of anactivist who postpone on a case, unless there is another purpose behind this case.

On this occasion, Anand Krishna also denied the contents ofFarahdiba Agustin's testimony, and again invited the judges to come into Ciawi to review directly theplace of the alleged crime.

This is to prove that testimony from Farahdiba or so-calledFay, and other witnesses are not at all in accordance between the description of the incident with thereal place, and it's impossible it has happened at the place they meant.

Meanwhile, when contacted by telephone, other Anand'slawyer, Humphrey Djemat, argued that testimony from Farahdiba Agustin iscontrary to other witnesses testimony related to meetings between them before reportingit to the police.

Those who are able to understan of gratitude is no longer praying to beg. We are not beggars anymore. We have become rich. Our mind or brain are more open by feeling gratitude. Law of attraction will run. Good will attract all that is good. Beauty Will attract other beauty. By feeling grateful we will open the door of happiness even wider. All good and luck will come. Gratitude makes us easy to forgive and always have smile spread across our lips. Our face will shine for the heart will always connect to Him the Most Beautiful and Gracious.

Gratitude will make our body become healthy. With a healthy body, we will be able to have the opportunity to work as an attempt to share with others. Circle of Laughter, Accessing our Childhood Joy

Too many benefits we can get from laughing ranging from relieving pain, bring happiness, overcoming fears, increasing self-confidence up to increasing our body immunity system. Laugh can reduce stress hormones such as cortisol, epinephrine (adrenaline, dopamine), it can also improve the hormon for health such as endorphins, and neurotransmitters. Only few of us who reliaze the purpose of our life. They think that spiritual journey is able to be separated from daily life such as business, funny, isn't it? How can one do that?

This is one cunning way to avoid the spiritual journey. They separate between daily work and the time

they are doing worship in front of God (they think). If that is thing said and done, no wonder the

authorities and Indonesian man increasingly unorganized. It is easy for them to find justification to

rape of His decision. They will become thieves in one place and give charity in another. They have made

their own provisions against law of nature.

Make yourselves poor from property does not mean that we are really poor. It is poor from poor

attachment or craving to material possessions. There are some people who looked poor in body, but full

of worldly attachment. It also categorized as poor in the eyes of God. His heart filled with desire so

he has few places to remember God. Or even he has forgotten God?

Do not waste your life by doing worldly thing only. Try your best to find the treasure of the world, but

you must give it back to HIM, The Owner after you get it. We only use our wealth as needed. Not to

fulfill all of our desires... Well this is why we must understand the difference between needs and wants ......

Mulla Nasrudin lately often seen his wife grumble and cursing their neighbors which she said do not wash the white clothes very clean. Mulla Nasrudin keeps quiet, observes and listens carefully. The next morning when she woke up, she smiled and praised her neighbors that the laundry is clean. Maybe because they use whitening. She said to her husband, that the neighbors might hear her grumble, so they washed the clothes clean and bright. With a smile Mulla Nasrudin said, "Yesterday I cleaned the mirror. There is no connection between your grumble and their clean washing". Actually the mirror is dirty so you think that their laundry is dirty.

This is what happens to our hearts. The heart is like a mirror. So, if our hearts is dirty all become visibly soiled. The beauty outside occurres because of the beauty from within. If our hearts are cheerful and beautiful, everything looks beautiful. Circumstances out of ourselves will be beautiful or bad depend on the reflection from within ourselves.

When Jesus was told of and scolded, he could not reply the same thing. When his disciples asked why he did not do the same? With a gentle smile he said:

"I do not have the currency of hatred so I could no longer replied their insult. The only I can give is love. I hope they realize that they only harm themselves. I did not loss anything at all because of their deeds."

It also happened to Rabiah, a Sufi woman. At one point she was cursed and abused by those who did not like her. The answer is almost the same. She had no longer any place in her heart to insults and curses those who did the thing to her. Her heart was filled with God's names so that she had no longer any room for evil blasphemer and of hatred. Everything become sacred when our heart is pure and clean from hatred. We cannot clean dirty floor with dirty water. It must be cleaned using clean water.

It is not necessary to take care of others, deal with yourself and observe the cleanliness of your heart. Be in harmony with nature. So it will make you closer to God. all hatred, greedy, envy and anger will be increasingly draw you far from Divine guidance. God is all jealous. He did not want to share with greed and anger. If the heart is filled of hatred and lust, God won't be there. That's when our relationship with the universe breaks... That's when we lose in life.

It is not realized by the followers of religions which derives from revelation of God. We are losers when we cannot use this life time to get closer to God. It is not Him that take distance with us, but we ourselves which cover our hearts of His presence. we forget the purpose of our birth that should eliminate our lust. We actually increase or strengthen the greed to serve our lust. Many saints and prophets sent by God to remind us, but we still forget. In fact, we often blaspheme the prophets and the saints because they interfere our indulgence in sensual pleasures.

Some also seem to be diligently pray and read holy books. But it is only body exercises or ritual. They worship only as a show off or to show off to others for praise. How can doing worship can make us far from disgraceful acts, if it is only done in certain time and place. Prayer should be applied in our daily life. It is should be part of us and do not place it far away such as on top of the tower ...

When we are dying we should realize that all knowledge would be a burden. Including knowledge of God. Do not bring knowledge when we are dead. The necessary thing to do is transform knowledge into experience. This means that transform knowledge of God into experiencing God. When we are experiencing God, so God does not exist. Because one has merged with God. How could we merge with God if there is still separation between human and God. And it could only happen in the world. Humans know the Lord as introduced by other humans. Animals do not know God. They live by instinct.

Anand Krishna Case Enters a New Phase

Lovers of Anand Ashram Community Performed a Peaceful Demo

For the second time lover of Anand Ashram spiritual community held a demonstration in front of the South Jakarta district court, by singing the national anthem and folk songs. This community proclaimed their demands that there are strong allegations of ethics violations committed by Chief judge Hari Sasangka. The reason is that Hari Sasangka is suspected to have met witness in Anand Krishna case named Shinta Kencana Kheng, on March 23, 2011 at 20:20 pm. They have also been reported to the Judicial Commission (KY) as a response to indications of ethical violations.

David Purba, the coordinator of the demo said the a peaceful demo by KPAA is a statement toward the court which is considered to have violated the code of ethics. "We demand attitude of the court because the judge had violated the code of ethics, it is not appropriate to have a relationship with a witness-victim and of course there is partiality," he told reporters after holding the demo at the South Jakarta District Court, Ampera 133, South Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon .

From the beginning, this case is full of awkwardness and increasingly obvious there is certain manipulation behind the case of Anand Krishna. Today chairman of the South Jakarta District Court judges in the case Anand Krishna, Hari Sasangka, was reported to the Judicial Commission for allegedly violating the code of ethics. The report was conducted by Anand Krishna's attorney, Humphrey R Djemat, Monday (6 / 6).

Hari Sasangka, the Chief Judge who handles the case of Anand Krishna alleged to have committed a

disgraceful act in a relationship with the victim witness named Sinta Kencana Keng and show partiality.

"The report is purely an alleged violation of code of ethics because the judge has committed a disgraceful act. The Judge conducted a relationship with a woman victim witnesses in the case that is examined in the South Jakarta District Court, that is the case of Anand Krishna, "Humphrey said in the Judicial Commission office on Monday (6 / 6).

The report is supported by the evidence in the form of photographs and witnesses who saw the meeting

between Hari Sasangka and Shinta Kencana Kheng. Humphrey explained that witnesses saw a direct meeting of the two in three different occasions. Namely since March 30, 2011, May 25, 2011

"Building a relationship with the parties to the case alone is not allowed, moreover met Shinta who is a victim-witness, in the car at night in several different places," said Humphrey.

Meanwhile the head of Supervision and Investigation of Judge Supaman Marjuki who received Anand's

attorney, said that Hari Sasangka action is very demeaning for judges.

"The Judicial Commission will follow this report. This is sufficient condition for further action, if proven in question (Hari Sasangka) can be dismissed, "said Suparman.

is a Gaudiya Vaishnava Hindu prayer of eight verses composed in the Sanskrit language. They are believed to be the only verses left personally written by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, with the majority of his philosophy being codyfied by his primary disciples, known as the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan. The Siksastaka is quoted within the Chaitanya Charitamrita, Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami's biography of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, written in Bengali script. The name of the prayer comes from the Sanskrit roots Śikṣa meaning 'instruction', and aṣṭaka meaning 'eight'. The teachings contained within the eight verses are believed to contain the essence of all teachings on Bhakti yoga within the Gaudiya tradition.

The first eight verses of the following are the complete text of the Siksastaka, as written in Sanskrit by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and as translated by Srila Prabhupada. They are found in Krishnadasa Kaviraja's Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita (Antya-līlā, verses 12, 16, 21, 29, 32, 36, 39 and 47). Glory to the Sri Krishna sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This sankirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious.

nāmnām akāri bahudhā nija-sarva-śaktis

tatrārpitā niyamitaḥ smaraṇe na kālaḥ

etādṛśī tava kṛpā bhagavan mamāpi

durdaivam īdṛśam ihājani nānurāgah

O my Lord, Your holy name alone can render all benediction to living beings, and thus You have hundreds and millions of names like Krishna and Govinda. In these transcendental names You have invested all Your transcendental energies. There are not even hard and fast rules for chanting these names. O my Lord, out of kindness You enable us to easily approach You by chanting Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no attraction for them.

tṛṇād api sunīcena

taror api sahiṣṇunā

amāninā mānadena

kīrtanīyaḥ sadā harih

One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige, and ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.

na dhanaḿ na janaḿ na sundarīḿ

kavitāḿ vā jagad-īśa kāmaye

mama janmani janmanīśvare

bhavatād bhaktir ahaitukī tvayi

O almighty Lord, I have no desire to accumulate wealth, nor do I desire beautiful women, nor do I want any number of followers. I only want Your causeless devotional service birth after birth.

O my Lord, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing constantly when I chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke up, and when will the hairs on my body stand on end at the recitation of Your name?

śūnyāyitaḿ jagat sarvaḿ

govinda-viraheṇa me

O Govinda! Feeling Your separation, I am considering a moment to be like twelve years or more. Tears are flowing from my eyes like torrents of rain, and I am feeling all vacant in the world in Your absence.

āśliṣya vā pāda-ratāḿ pinaṣṭu mām

adarśanān marma-hatāḿ karotu vā

yathā tathā vā vidadhātu lampaṭo

mat-prāṇa-nāthas tu sa eva nāparah

I know no one but Krishna as my Lord, and He shall remain so even if He handles me roughly in His embrace or makes me brokenhearted by not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything and everything, for He is always my worshipful Lord unconditionally.

prabhura ‘śikṣāṣṭaka’-śloka yei paḍe, śune

kṛṣṇe prema-bhakti tāra bāḍe dine-dine

If anyone recites or hears these eight verses of instruction by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, his ecstatic love and devotion for Krsna increases day by day.

Significance

Within his Siksastaka, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu stresses on the importance of singing (bhajan) and chanting (japa) the Names of God. This is the primary feature of Gaudiya Vaishnava spiritual practice (sadhana). This is particularly evident in the first three verses of the Siksastaka.

The starting verse of Siksastaka states a number of reasons why sankirtana (congregational chanting of the holy names of the Lord, which in Gaudiya Vaishnavism especially refers to Hare Krishna) should be emphasized in spiritual practice.

"The first reason is because it cleanses the heart of all the dust that’s been there for many years. This refers to an internal cleansing process. If we neglect to clean a room, soon dust will appear on the furniture and under the bed. But the dirt that the chanting of Hare Krishna cleans is the dirt of material desires within the heart. Whenever we desire something and forget the pleasure of Krishna , the Supreme Personality of Godhead, that is a “dirty” desire. Otherwise, nothing is innately good or bad. But if we desire anything other than pleasing the Supreme Personality of Godhead, that is inauspicious."

If you meditate every day on God as the inner core, the real flame of love, power and wisdom, in each individual - man, woman and child, high and low, rich and poor, learned and illiterate - then you will not emphasize the differences and quarrel. Then anger, envy and hatred cannot enter your broad heart. Love will be the only quality welcomed therein and emanating therefrom.

Action is spiritual practice, when it is done as seva. The service attitude is most beneficial to the person rendering it as well as to others. Service is the best use to which the body can be put. In fact, you are not doing service to others. You are doing it always to yourselves, to the God in you, the God who is equally present in others.

Trusting in God strengthens your faith in your fellow men. You will love them more, suffer their faults and failings with greater sympathy and you will share in activities that serve the poor and the disabled. You will come to know that God loves those who love His children and He will shower grace on those who serve the weak, the meek and the ignorant.

It is Love that creates, sustains and engulfs all. Without Love, no one can claim to have succeeded in deciphering God and His handiwork, the Universe. God is Love; live in Love - that is the direction indicated by the sages. Love can grow only in a well-ploughed heart, free from brambles. So, the heart has to be prepared by means of constant recital of the Name...Charge every second of time with the Divine current that emanates from the Name.

You have to transform your life through service. You should give no room for arrogance or self-interest to the slightest extent in your service activities. Install in your heart the feeling that the service you render to anyone is service to God. Only then does service to man become service to God.

Love binds one person to another. Love attaches one thing to another. Without Love the Universe is naught. The highest Love makes us aware of the Lord in every one. The Lord is equally present in all. Life is Love; Love is Life. Without God, deprived of God, nothing and nobody can exist. We live on and through the Divine Will. It is His will that operates as Love, in each of us. It is He who prompts the prayer, "Let all the worlds be happy." For, He makes us aware that the God we adore, the God we love, the God we live by, is in every other being as Love. Thus Love expands and encompasses all creation.

It is not easy for the mind of man immersed in worldly concerns to turn to God. Meditation, repetition of the names of the Lord, bhajans (group singing of devotional songs), reading of scriptures and other such activities are designed to purify the mind so that it can concentrate on God. As a field has to be properly ploughed and prepared for sowing so as to reap a good harvest, the field of our heart has to be rendered pure and sacred through good and holy actions, and sadhana (spiritual discipline) if it is to yield the fruit of Divine Wisdom.

Have the Name of God on your tongue, in your breath, ever. That will evoke His Form, as the inner core of every thing, thought or turn of events. That will provide you with His company, contact with His unfailing energy and bliss. That is the Sathsanga (good association) that gives you maximum benefit. Converse with God who is in you; derive courage and consolation from Him. He is the Guru most interested in your progress. Do not seek the Guru outside you, in hermitages or holy places. The God in you is father, mother, preceptor, and friend.

Martha Graham (May 11, 1894 – April 1, 1991) was an American dancer & choreographer of modern dance, whose influence on dance has been compared to the influence Stravinsky had on music, Picasso had on the visual arts, or Frank Lloyd Wright had on architecture.

Graham invented a new language of movement, and used it to reveal the passion, the rage and the ecstasy common to human experience. She danced and choreographed for over seventy years, and during that time she was the first dancer ever to perform at The White House, travel abroad as a cultural ambassador, and receive the highest civilian award of the USA: the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Today is the birthday for Roger Hargreaves,
(9 May 1935 – 11 September 1988) was a British author and illustrator of children's books, notably the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, intended for very young readers. The books' simple and silly stories, with bright-coloured, boldly drawn illustrations, have been part of popular culture for over 25 years, with sales over 85 million worldwide in 20 languages.

He spent a year working in his father's laundry and dry-cleaning business before starting out in advertising. But his original ambition was to be a cartoonist; and, in 1971, while he was working as the creative director at a London firm, he wrote the first Mr. Men book, Mr. Tickle. He initially had difficulty finding a publisher; but, once he did, the books became an instant success, selling over one million copies within three years. In 1975 it spawned a BBC animated television series called Mr. Men Show, Mr Tickle being voiced by Arthur Lowe.
By 1976, Hargreaves had quit his day job. In 1981, the Little Miss series of books began to appear. It, too, was made into a television series in 1983, which was narrated by John Alderton, who, with Pauline Collins, voiced the Men and Misses, respectively. Although Hargreaves wrote many other children's stories, including the Timbuctoo series of twenty-five books, John Mouse, and the Roundy and Squary books, he is best known for his 46 Mr. Men books and 33 Little Miss books.

After his death his son Adam continued writing and drawing the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters with new stories. However, in April 2004, Roger's wife Christine sold the rights to the Mr. Men characters to the UK entertainment group Chorion, for £28 million.

As a Muslim I was hurt to read the news on Rakyat Merdeka Online, Friday, April 29, 2011, 12:27:00 AM reported that violence happened in the name of religion that is a prosecution the closure of a church. "The first disturbance took place last February 16th in which I was forced to sign the closing of the church," said church leader, Reverend Nico Lomboan

At that time, he was forced to sign a letter by a group of peope in the front of the house of Sleman Regional Representatives Council . In fact, according to him a member of Regional Representatives Council in Sleman also forced him to approve the closure of the church. He threatened he will make the same thing as happened in Temanggung.

"I was confronted to the masses and forced to sign it, otherwise I will be killed or Sleman will be the second Temanggung."

If that such evil human beings are in power in this country then surely we are all that will be in trouble, those men such as vampire will still undertake violence, because that is the only language they understand as we can look at their behavior.

Where is the beauty of islamic values gone?

Islam is a blessing for all mankind, a blessing for the universe. Not only for human being can surely feel such blessing but for all of His creatures in this universe. But if the struggle allows all sorts of ways, including killing, so what would happen if the struggle is reached?. A bad politicians who struggle, campaign with all sorts of ways, then look at his behavior when he was elected as the representatives in our representatives House there?. Well, at the end it is us who are in troubled by such representatives. They do not care about their people interests because they only care about their own problem.

The bomb incident inside a mosque was a sign that they will not hesitate to kill those who disagree with them, so what if they are in power to rule this country? I am sure our life will be in threat all the time because they will do anything as they intend to.

The way they interpret the holly Qur'an are based on themselves which are full of violence and very tough character. Well, that will be the end of Islam as the blessing for the universe. Such kind of interpretation will never make this world a prosper and enjoyable place to live in. Islam which is known as the blessing for all will be just a dream.

Do not Keep silent! Let's Speak out About this outrage!

Our silence only gives energy to them, our silence will only make them more confident. Perhaps we now become indifferent because we have not been affected by their violence, because we are still safe.
Finnally that is our silence which will make them rule this country for they take it from us. It will be all our mistakes for having been silent and do not react against their existence. So, before it is too late, better if we speak out and take a stand, get together to react so that they will not stay in this country for long.

All over the world are happy because of his death. What a pity? But that's the truth. Hundreds of people gathered in front of the White House to celebrate demise of Osama bin Laden. So many people do not like him for he had done terribly bad action due to other human being. He was the one who was behind 9/11 tragedy.

Many people died in that incidents and people around the world condemned his unciviled act. Well, it is not about the religion or the country where he came from but it is about his bad deed.

Although I am not fans of him, I pray that he may get the exact place "in his new world there" in accordance with his deeds.And if he comes to this world in the future, he could be a better person.

President Barack Obama proudly informed about his death, he also said that he does not fight islam nor hate it. Well, congratulation for you Mr. President and to all of us hopefully there won't be any terorism so the world will be in peace.

Anand Krishna's hunger Strike protest has Ended, But Not His struggle in Seeking Justice

Anand Krishna, Indonesia's interfaith spiritual figure which had conducted a hunger strike since March

9, 2011 to seek justice, finally on Tuesday April 26th, 2011 stopped the strike because of the letter to suspend his detention from the prosecutor.

"Yesterday a letter about the cancellation (decision) of court (South Jakarta) came. The letter was a

response to the petition filed by the prosecution consideration. This morning a letter from the prosecutor's reply arrived. Therefore, Mr. Anand was allowed to go home, "said Sr. Comr Mas Ibnu Hajar

With the letter from the South Jakarta District Court, said Ibnu, the status as a prisoner who was previously imposed on Anand Krishna has been revoked. In the meantime, further proceedings can be held if Anand's condition back to normal.

It was a hard way which has been taken by Anand Krishna in seeking for justice, because he believes that the allegation of sexual harassment against him is only a slander, and still it cannot be proved in court. "That llegation is not proven in court, but judges arbitrarily decided that I must be detained. I therefore went on the hunger strike against this injustice, "said Anand in a low voice.

He believes the same treatment also experienced by those who are in a legal case in Indonesia. "I also address this hunger strike to the whole nation so they can assess how the law can be tricked by those

who have positions simply because of our authority," he said.

Anand Krishna keeps his promise to conduct a hunger strike until justice for himself realized. Currently, he has begun to taste meals for the first time, after a hunger strike for 45 days.

"Praise be to Allah, since last night (Tuesday, 26/04/2011) he was willing to eat," said Senior Commissioner Mas Ibnu Hajar, Head of Medical Services of Police Hospital Raden Said Sukanto (Police of Indonesian Republic), Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, when we met him in his office on Wednesday (04/27/2011).

"Yesterday a cancellation letter (decision) of court (South Jakarta) came. The letter was a response to the petition of consideration proposed by the prosecution. This morning a letter from the prosecutor's reply arrived. Therefore, Mr. Anand was allowed to go home," said Ibnu.

With the letter from the South Jakarta District Court, said Ibnu, the status of a prisoner who was previously imposed on Anand Krishna has been revoked. In the meantime, further proceedings can be held if Anand's condition back to normal.

Entering the 37th day of hunger strike demanding a trial process in a fair and an objective way, Anand Krishna's condition has declined. It is hard for him to open his two eyes and move his body, but Anand Krishna continue his hunger strike for the sake of a justice to be upheld.

If God still needs his body as means to work, then he would survive. If not, then let him die. Mahatma Gandhi faced the British colonizers who probably still has a conscience. We are facing a system that no conscience, said Anand krishna as recorded by relatives and friends.

What's wrong with Hari Sasangka the judge?

Judge Day Sasangka is the presiding judge who led Anand Krishna's trial, many strange things of this closed trial held. Starting from uncertain time of the trial and the trial often delayed for no reason, up to the trial was postponed (undo) because the witness was unable or cancel their coming. Until then the judge's decision to detain Anand Krishna in the middle of the trial without any reasonable cause. It is known then the other judges did not join to sign that decision.

The most striking peculiarities are:

1) There is a recommendation of a particular institution that advocates for the judge to allow thewitnesses from the prosecution to be able to attend the hearing which was held in a closed session, while the reporter alone (TR) never followed the trial, that raises questions what urgency for them to attend the trial? then why should the judge grant the recommendation? because as a leader of the trial,the judge is entitled and has the authority to reject the recommendation to maintain his independence as a law enforcement officer.

2) The trial discussed only 10% of the cases which is a sexual harassment allegation, the rest 90% is a discussion, even questioning about Anand Krishna's thought contained in his books or lectures. As we know Anand Krishna is a productive writer of books, he has writen 140 books. Most of them are about self-empowerment, national spirit and appreciation of differences. No single books of his is prohibited by the prosecutor's office, you can get those books easily in book stores. And the judges knows this but they still continue the discussion of the substances that deviate from the allegations.

3) A sudden decision about Anand Krishna's detention, Anand Krishna was sentenced to be detainedalthough that was not the time. The judge immediately gave the order of detention to Anand Krishna in the middle of the trial without any prior notice. Determination of the detention was carried out in the middle the trial when the session for witnesses who ease against Anand Krishna is going to start.

4) In the detention letter contained that there were 9 witnesses who has been examined in fact there were 25 witnesses. It indicates the judge started lying to hide the facts of the trial.

5) In the the trial, once the judge said if you want to invite the expert you will need "ammunition and bullet", this implies an indication that the judges got bribes or wants to be bribed. Hari Sasangka allegedly hid Facts of the trial.

When Dewi Pratomo, TR personal therapist, allowed by the court to be one of an expert witnesses at trial, denying any possibility of subjectivity and the existence of certain interests. She claimed to have been practicing hypnotherapy for 20 years. Although in reality, The Hypnosis Motivation Institute Hypnotis Motivation Institute) said that she has just completed the distance education in February 2009. (Based on an e-mail from the Director of Distance Education, HMI). There is a discrepancy here, which should be followed up in the court, because the witnesses who were brought to court and give testimony under oath. Hari Sasangka is one of judges who handled the case, the case is full of controversy which was originally regarded as a means to silence the chairman of this Commission, finally revealed as well if there is manipulation of facts made by the judge. Take back the decision in detaining Anand Krishna because it is not in its place, replace Judge Hari Sasangka as a symbol of the prosecutor's attempt to run a fair and objective trial. The Spirit of Life

Anand Krishna, an Indonesian spiritual guru known as a productive writer is an amazing person. He makes Su Rahman - a founder of Cipta Karya Mandiri Web Service Solution – loves his country a lot. Su rahman said that before meeting and knowing Anand Krishna, he is such a person that does not care about his country. He was pessimist about Indonesia because of certain reasons.

But things changed when he met Anand Krishna, an India descent yet with his strong nationality to Indonesia where he was born. To Su Rahman, Anand Krishna is such an inspiration to his life. He always speaks up about humanity, peace, love and harmony.

Anand Krishna which is also an ambassador for peace recognized by The Universal Peace Federation in 2010 is facing a charge toward a sexual harassment as told by someone claimed as his former disciples. He has been undertaking a hearing process at South Jakarta District Court since August last year. Yet,no single evidence found that he did the thing.

Although the panel of judges realize that there is not any evidence that Anand Krishna is against Indonesian law of doing any sexual harassment, but on Wednesday March 9, 2011, he was detained and sent to Rutan in Cipinang, East Jakarta. Since then knowing that his detention is unfair for him, Anand Krishna decided to do hunger strike as his protest against the panel of judges decision.

During his stay in Rutan Cipinang, several activists and figures visited him to give support. According to them, Anand Krishna’s detention does not make any sense because he was not guilty since during the hearing process, he was cooperative (never missed attending the hearing process) and the panel could not prove that he did any crime. One of them said the detention is because Anand Krishna speaks a lot about pluralism and this might be thing that certain people do not like and want to silence him.

On Wednesday March 16, 2011 although he was weak, Anand Krishna still came to attend the court but when he was walking down the stairs to enter the court room, he collapsed. It was at about 14:20 pm at Indonesian time. Then he was given medical help from the authorities there. And at about 15:00 pm Indonesian time, he was sent to Fatmawati hospital, South Jakarta.

Today, Tuesday March 22, 2011 is the fourteenth day he does his hunger strike. Even though he lays on the hospital he keeps on doing it. He won’t stop it unless his detention is taken by the panel of judges. This is his testimony on his hunger strikereleased on March 13, 2011.:

1. There is a greater purpose than my detention. However, this violates the innocence presumption's principle. Yet human rights and Indonesian basic law guaranteed the freedom of every citizen. How can I be detained if so far I have never been absence in the court? I always cooperative eventhough my health condition is poor as known by the Prosecutor, High Attorney and the Judges. In contrary, those who have slandered me did not attend the court frequently.

2. My purpose on hunger strike in order that the state and this nation can assess how the legal distinction of justice can still be tricked by people who have positions and solely for the reason "our authority".

3. It needs a total transformation and not merely in the field of law reform

4. I am disappointed with the judges and prosecutors with the system that does not run and still be able oppressed anyone.

5. I'm not angry, but once again. Disappointed and this hunger strike purely so that all that is wrong can be corrected by upholding human rights and justice.

Su Rahman said that Anand Krishna’s body may collapsed but not his spirit. His spirit will continue to spread out as we can see now that his spirit is in Su Rahman. As you can see from articles written by Su Rahman, you may believe that he has got the spirit. The spirit of Life….

Day 22 Anand Krishna’s on hunger strike

Anand Krishna known as a spiritual guru of Indonesia is now facing a sexual harassment allegation. The case was reported by someone claimed as his former student last year. From the first till now Anand Krishna has told to the public that it was only a slander toward him.He has never done such thing as told. However, the authority decided that the allegation was able to take to the court and being processed there. Their decision was based on the evidence given.

Then started from August 2010, Anand Krishna has been doing the hearing process at South Jakarta District Court where he collapsed in 16 March 2011 because of his weak condition due to his eighth day of hunger strike. His hunger strike is a protest to the panel judges’ decision which said that he must be detained at Detention Center in Cipinang in March 9 2011.

Today, his hunger strike has entered the 22 days. Yet, he keeps doing it till he gets what is called justice.

Do not know what make the judges keep silent about his condition. He is now at Indonesian Police Hospital in Kramat Djati, East Jakarta, laying on his bed in weak condition.

Perhaps some of you think that he is guilty so that he must take that detention and suffer there.

From the hearing process for more than a year, no evidence is found that he is guilty and he is also being cooperative. Moreover, the panel of judges may see that there is something behind the case. It is not about the sexual harassment but something elseabout his thought and vision which is one earth, one sky and one human kind. Certain people intend to silence Anand Krishna for he is active in sounding nationalism, pluralism, and other noble values. Yet, they seemed to take certain side, they did not stand for justice.

Support for Anand Krishna is still ongoing. People give support because understand what he is doing and believe that he is innocent. An author of 140 books which is full of love and peace inside will never do such deed. He honors women a lot.

Adnan Buyung Nasution, a senior lawyer in Indonesia gave his support by visiting Anand Krishna on Thursday, March 24 2011at Indonesian Police Hospital, Kramat Djati, East Jakarta. He said that the judges’ decision is against the ethic code of the hearing process. He will support Anand Krishna to get his right as Indonesian citizen, justice.

While Muhammad A.S. Hikam, a minister of research and technology in Abdul Rahman Wahid era ask people to support Anand Krishna by signing the petition to free him. Today,wednesday March 16, 2011 Anand Krishna an Indonesian spiritualist and humanist has been fasting for 8 day as a protest to get justice. Even many people do not agree with his action but he kept on it. He is willing to struggle for what he believes at. He is not guilty toward the case charged on him.

During the hearing that started from August 2010, no evidence found that he did thing against the law. He is purely innocent, but he got an unfair and inhuman treatment. And today when he arrived at South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel) at 14:20 pm to attend the hearing, he collapsed. He was in a very critical condition.

He handled by medical personnel then eventhough it took about an hour. His attorney said that his blood pressure was 140/90 with a pulse reaches 108

According to Anand’s son, Prashant Gangtani, even if his father conditions is weak, Anand still wanted to attend the court he wants to convey something to the judges. “When I asked whether he is ready or not, my father said he is ready, to struggle for justice,” as Prashant told AFP.

Prashant said his father insisted on fasting as a protest against the judges who arrested him since Wednesday, March 9, 2011. “This is a protest against injustice he’s received,” said Prashant.

Anand Krishna was rushed to Fatmawati Hospital for treatment at 15.00 pm.

A visit of Humanitarian and Interfaith activists for Anand Krishna

Saturday, March 12, 2011 after 4 days undertaking a hunger strike as his protest against the decision of thejudges, Anand Krishna - Indonesian spiritual leader acknowledged that his physical condition began to decline, his body began to feel weak and began to feel dizzy. But he will continue his hunger strike until the judges suspend his detention.

Support from friends of this peace leader who always speaks up about the unity of Indonesia is coming from various parts of the city to keep fighting for pluralismagendas. In addition, humanitarian and Interfaith spiritual activists also began to arrive and gave support to Anand Krishna, they said that the silencing of Anand Krishna is the silencing of the establishment of pluralism in Indonesia.

Nong Darol Mahmada also concerned over the detention of Anand Krishna, because based on what she heard that only 10% of the hearing due to the allegations toward him and the hearing focused on his activities more. She also expected that this case does not shift into a means to stop his struggle and he obtain justice by the court as fairly as possible.

Mohamad Guntur Romli

Muhammad Guntur Romli (Guntur, 33) an Interfaith Activist, stated that Anand Krishna ia a pluralism fighter. He gives alot of learning to the society about pluralism in Indonesia so that Indonesian people can appreciate the differences among them. This is in line with Indonesian philosophy which is unity in diversity.

Guntur also regretted the detention of Anand Krishna which seemed to be forced, looking at several facts that he had been very cooperative during the hearing process. Judges should consider the factor of humanity, which are:

1. His merits to the development of pluralism in Indonesia.

2. Age factor, considering he is no longer young. He is 54 years old now.

3. Health factor, this is the most important consideration for the judges because since his collapse in

2010 after undertaking investigation, he suffers permanent heart damage, and also acute diabetes.Looking at those points above, Guntur deeply regreted Anand Krishna’s detention. He hoped there will be the postponement of Anand Krishna’s detention by consideration of the points above until the hearing process finish.

Anand Krishna himself is determined to continue doing his hunger strike as a protest of the injustice for him, entering the fouth day his condition started to decline, but for the sake of justice then Anand Krishna willing to sacrifice his soul. Non Violence Action Taken by Anand Krishna In Searching for Justice

It has been 4 days since the status determination for Mr. Anand Krishna as a detainee which was very controversial. A Father of 2 children that is actively express the unity of Indonesia is undertaking his protest over the decision of the judges of South Jakarta District Court by a hunger strike, Anand Krishna said so far he has been cooperative following the trial process, and also has been transparent in providing descriptions in the trial.

Anand Krishna considered that his being thrown into prison since March 9, 2011 is really inappropriate because it was done in the middle of the trial without prior notice either to himself or to his legal advisers. Anand Krishna himself suffers from chronic heart disease and diabetes and should be applied a strict diet. But for the sake of justice against him, he is willing to sacrifice his soul to the anti-violent protest by a hunger strike.

Irregularities in the Hearing

What makes this peace figure who always speak about love took a hard way which can surely take his life because Anand felt several peculiarities, irregularities in the trial that its direction is no longer to the case alleged to himself but to the activities carried out by himself.

Robert Bunsen is best known for his invention of the improved gas flame device which bears his name: the Bunsen burner. However, Robert Wilhelm Eberhard Bunsen's contributions to science extend far beyond this one invention; he developed a number of other common laboratory instruments, as well as a new device and process for analyzing the elemental constituents of chemicals called spectroscopy.

This new science, developed with Gustav Kirchhoff, is probably his most important legacy to science. Bunsen received his doctorate in 1830 from the University of Göttingen, in his hometown. His high marks earned him a grant from the Hanoverian government and with those funds he traveled toBerlin, Bonn, Paris, and Vienna during the next three years. At each stop hemet with the cities' great thinkers and toured their centers of industry. Upon his return to Göttingen he was made an instructor at the university;his stay there was brief, however, and he taught at several other German universities until 1852, when he settled into a professorship at the University of Heidelberg. During the years before Heidelberg, Bunsen's research efforts were concentrated in the field of organic chemistry, particularly in the studyof arsenic and its compounds.

To properly analyze the elements, he constructed a very sensitive ice calorimeter, measuring the volume of melted ice, rather than the mass. In 1851, while visiting the University at Breslau, Bunsen developed a working friendship with Gustav Kirchhoff, then an instructor at Breslau. Kirchhoff shared his interest in the properties of chemicals, and in 1854 Bunsen persuaded Kirchhoff to transfer to the University of Heidelberg.

Together, they began research on the spectral emission of elements.In their experiments, an element was superheated or burned, so that the color of its flame could be observed. Unfortunately, even the best gas burner ofthe time imparted a glow from its flame that crept into the element's spectrum, skewing the scientists' findings. Bunsen was again forced to invent equipment whose precision would match that of his own research. Working with a design used by Michael Faraday, Bunsen made improvements that resulted in the modern laboratory burner, a device which produces a very hot, nearly invisible flame. Using this tool, Bunsen and Kirchhoff went on to pioneer the science ofspectroscopy. Over the course of his career, Bunsen also invented a grease-spot photometer (used for measuring light), a process for mass-producing magnesium, a laboratory filter pump for washing precipitate samples, and a steam calorimeter. Bunsen died in 1899.

Well, I always remember one of my best friends words about blog, specialy about blogging activity. Of course he is one of Indonesian bloggers. Although he is a new comer yet he made big improvement in his blog.I bet it because of his love on blogging. You can check out his blog here. What do you think? Isn’t cool?

In some of his postings he urges other blogger to keep on blogging. Never get bored or tired of maintaining our blog. Since in his mind blogging is merely a nice activity to do.

In other word, he support other blogger to stay on blogging thing. One of his mantra on blogging is posting, posting and…… posting. Ha ha ha… I like that mantra so

I learn from him that posting is the key to get ranked by Mr. Google. Yes, Mr. Google the three biggest search engines in the world. Don’t you want to get ranked so your blog will get many visitor? Wow…many visitor means an opportunity to make money from it.

He said we must try our best to post articles or at least an article each day so Mr. Google will detect our blog. Just take it easy, write about our own experiences. For instance on the way home from school or work you met some one and then you made friendship with him/her. You can write about that with your creativity.

Fear Management - Managing Fear to Trigger Self Evolution

Many times we cancel things when we want to do them because there is fear in us, False Emotions Appearing Real (Fear) is a false emotion that seem real. It is false because it has not happened yet we feel it so real. For example when we need to do medical check up we may think about someone else who has the same condition as us and think perhaps we will get the same dieases then we get stress eventhough we have not seen the doctor yet.

I have a friend who is so afraid of a frog, even he can lose consciousness if he touches it accidentally. Once he said, but my fear of frogs is not a problem because I only afraid of if and what is the importance of a frog in life. I think the important thing is not the object of our fear but the fear itself. Can we overcome that fear? Because fear is a form of emotion despite the object of it, and we should overcome that emotion.

I remember a movie titled Anger Management, starring Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler and Marisa Tomei. Dave has a psychiatric disorder that he is afraid of showing his love to his girlfriend in public area. Then with the help of an expert anger Therapy named DR Buddy, he was brought back to remember all his childhood memory. And the psychiatric found Dave's problems. His fear came from trauma when he was a kid that made him angry but he kept his anger. He undertook a series of therapy program to overcome his fear by overcoming his anger, let go of such useless emotion from his soul.

In a book titled Fear Management by Anand Krishna explained several fear that are available in human being so that we can overcome it in order to trigger our evolution. In the book contained 158 pages, published by PT. Gramedia Pustaka Utama Mr. Anand Krishna invites us to manage the fear we have, we cannot possibly eliminate the fear since fear itself is a source of energy that can be utilized to enhance the spiritual evolution in this life. Sleepy

It was after having lunch. Soon after that perhaps 10 minutes or so, I get sleepy. Well, it could be everyone’s usual problem in our daily life. I am sleepy now.

Yet……

Let me tell you something about this also.

Last week when I got cough and I must take medicines, this problem also in my eyes. Really in my two eyes. I was sleepy after taking those medicine which was antibiotics and medicine to handle soar throat and allergic. That’s why I am kind of lazy to take any kind of medicine whether it is from a doctor or usual medicine you can find in the drug store around. I cannot stand on the side effect of them. Sleepy.

Although it is good for our body to take a rest for a while but for I am in an office hour, so I could not sleep. I kept my eyes open or I go to the bathroom and put a little water in my two eyes in order to handle that problem. Or you can also rub your eyes with wet towel to fresh them.

Now, that I face the same problem again. I am sleepy. I know what to do then………….

It has been a long time for me not to write to you. How are you now? Are you still in your best condition? I do hope so since I’ve been always prayed for your health in your soul and body. How is that? Am I not your very best friend? Ha ha ha

So, things are alright with me. I am just fine. I just want to let you know about me here which is close to you. Yes, we are so close, aren’t we? I need to tell you that I try to be grateful to what you have done to me all the time. I say many thank to you.

Perhaps you do not expect this writing but it is ok, I understand that. Well, I say thank you for thousand times.

Small things and big things, I try to take it and fell happy about them. Just like the Saint say that it is good to be grateful in many ways. Do not take things seriously, although I often am covered with sadness, anger and hatred but I try to change anyway.

I thank Him for giving me the opportunity to live another day so I can undertake improvement in me my self. I must remember Him always for He is The One and Only. Even sometime I get confused about Him. some say we are God for we ourselves create our own destiny whether we succeed or fail. But He is The Almighty, and how is it? Still get confused about it.

One thing for sure that all I can do is thank Him for everything and be grateful about it.

Who delay their Salat from their stated fixed times 6. Those who do good deeds only to be seen 7. And refuse Al-Ma'un (QS Almaun [107]: 1-7)

Nowadays, those Verses have been interpreted in a shallow meaning, feeding the orphans and the poor is defined as giving them donation, or charity. Why should not we think that feeding the orphans and the poor is to provide welfare, to provide jobs so that they can meet their needs, providing a holistic education so they can be responsible to their own lives.

We simplify the meaning of the verse because if we follow the true meaning it becomes very hard for us, then we compromise, simplify the problem and take a shortcut by requiring donations, or charity. Donations, or charities lead us to a new problem that is laziness, even the goverment of DKI is confused by the number of beggars in Jakarta, do not blame them, they become like that because we are the one who made them because we merelly give charity to them. we should give them jobs so they can earn their own living instead of giving them charity.

If we take a closer look at those verses, then we could find the meaning of those verses which is to create prosperity for all. we are required to build a system that can lead all of us to prosperity. Poverty can not be solved with charity, stupidity can not be solved by the doctrine. We must work all together to create prosperity for all. Bung Hatta had come with his thoughts on Cooperation, an economic concept that is suitable for the Indonesian people, it is time for us to find out more about this brilliant concept. This is not all about our government's work, stop blaming the government, this is a job for us all. Stop debating something that is not useful, It is time to get together and cooperate with each other.

Take off our religious attributes, political party attributes and all attributes of particular interests. This time we must stand for the sake of our nations, one goal only that we are focus on which is the prosperity for all. Or else we will be the disbelievers of His command.

Do not talk about heaven (but do create it here and now)

It is said according to a gossip from the sky that is received by the su Darman about uncle Mullah’s death when he was under a banyan tree. Uncle Mullah eventually went to heaven, because he made a lot of people laugh and happy so he was given a special place in heaven, one day he was asked to go around his new neighborhood there by an angel.

At the intersection, uncle Mullah saw people being tortured, whipped and burned on fire. After being tortured they died but soon lived again and so on. It was like that over and over again. Uncle Mullah could not stand himself then he asked the angel. “O Angel, what place is it? and why are they being tortured? “

“O.. we call it hell, A place for people who like stealing, adultery, corruption and all other sinful acts during their life . ” replied the angel.

O.. …

Then he was asked to walk again to see another place of torture until they reached the next intersection. Uncle Mullah saw Amrozi and friends were in a nice place, full of pleasure and the scenery was beautiful. There they were accompanied by many beautiful naked women, beautiful music, and many delicious food. Then with a bit surprised Uncle Mullah questioned.

“O… angel what place is it?”

“O… It’s Amrozi’s heaven!” Replied the angel. Then they walked again. Ten minutes later there was terifying sound, BOOOMMMMMM, uncle Mullah surprised but still silent, they walk again. About ten minutes later there was another BOOOOOMMMMMM. Unable to bear with his curiosity he then asked the angel, “what sound is that, O angel?”

“O.. It was a bomb, every ten minutes we blow Amrozi’s heaven..!!!”

Reflection:

Heaven … heaven is a place that becomes the ultimate goal of men, I began to question perhaps we actually do not believe in heaven, since according to the lecture I often hear that the requirement to go to heaven is that we must be good, often do good deeds, but in fact now?. Levels of corruption is very high and that indicates that we are not good. Then what kind of heaven we want to achieve?

Although we often do worship, but if our attitude is not good, such as do corruption, hate others who has different belief as ours, or gossipping others and other bad deeds so I think we are still very far from heaven.

Heaven and Hell are one’s mental condition, and therefore we often hear a saying: like living in hell, because covered by anger, envy, jealousy, resentment, sadness and much negatif emotions that burden our soul. The condition of our souls, now in this world will determine our acquisitions in the hereafter, if we are still full of bad emotions such as anger, hatred, grief, then what kind of heaven will we obtain?

Therefore some say that the failure to find heaven right now, while still living in this very world, it also failure to find a paradise in the hereafter later. If we want to find heaven in the hereafter later then we have to start from now, in this world. We have to bring heaven to our lives ourselves, by beginning to empower ourselves. Begin to improve ourselves so that we can also improve the surroundings. Thus we make this world a more beautiful place to live in, and then we talk about heaven in the hereafter.

No!, Do not talk about heaven first, if we are still unable to maintain our nature. Do not talk about heaven first if we still can not be responsible for ourselves, if we are corrupt, use our authority for our own sake. Do not talk about heaven if we still can not take care of ourselves, because is God willing to give heaven to those who still does corruption, which is still bad, full of hypocrisy?

Discover and create heaven here and now in this world then we will get the same thing there one day in the hereafter.

A Web Programmer and Genie

Su Darman is a web programmer who is skillfull enough and creative so he can get money from his skill, but what su Darman enjoys most about it is that he can set his own bedtime. And of course he can take vacation any time he wants. such as that Friday night, he decided to spend his time on the beach and he went to Pelabuhan Ratu in Sukabumi.

When he got there, he wished he could meet Nyi Roro Kidul - ruler of the southern ocean. He wanted to ask her some mantras for his success in making a great program such as FaceBook.While walking and daydreaming, suddenly his feet hit something. He took a closer look at is, it is an ancient lamp, he was in amazed. Then spontaneously he rubbed that ancient lamp…….

"wow…., my heart almost get stop”

In front of him stood a high and large figure in laughing, “I am the oldest genie and have an extraordinary supernatural powers, I will make one request of yours come true”, he said just like an ads on TV.

Su Darman thought, and then came a cross a thought in his mind, then he pulled out a map of the Mediterranean from his bag and said, “I wish there is peace among the people in the Middle East region.”Jin replied, “Well, I do not know. These people are already at war since the beginning of time. I can do everything, but it’s still beyond my ability. “Su Darman said, “Okay if so, I am a web programmer and I would like a web made by me are used by many people. I want everyone happy with my website, so they want to come back to visit”

The genie frowned and then said, ‘Well, could you allow me to see the map again? “

Reflections:

Even the oldest and the most powerful genie can not make everyone happy, but all we can do is do as our best, likes and dislikes is part of the world that can not be avoided, therefore it is impossible to make everyone likes the result our work. If we are busy thinking about it, we become unable to work, we can do many things, we waste energy on something useless.

Maybe it would be better if Mr. be ye the one who met that genie instead of Su Darman.But never mind, hopefully Mr. be ye is aware that it is not possibly to please everyone, which Mr. Beye had to do is do the best with all his heart and sincerity and of course the results will be good.

Genie’s choice was very appropriate because it is not possible to satisfy everyone, but to reconcile betwen people in hostile is still possible. All we need is love.So many stories ever since about two families are in hostile, then one day two young members of that two families fall in love, and everything become so much better, hatred among them are gone. Because according to the Beatles’ All You Need Is Love.

crowd in the middle of the night

Hearing voices which I believed was a group of people far away, made me afraid. For some reason, I thought that's really unpleasant. Oh.. I was scared though I only heard the voices of people who were fighting in the middle of the night.

I was far indeed from them. But the fear was so close. A sense that I ddi not want. I was terrified. Ah really beyond expectations. I still keep it. I did not like to think of this. In my fear I called Your name. I begged for your protection. I put the palms of my hands together and while sitting cross-legged I pleaded.

Going to Gramedia Matraman

Since Sunday, November 7, 2010 there was a book review talkshow "A New Christ" written by Wallace D. Wattles with free translation, re-editing and notes by Mr. Anand Krishna held at Gramedia Matraman in East Jakarta,this, so since I have never been to the place, the day before - Saturday afternoon - i went out to look for where Matraman Gramedia is located.

Searching for information via Google but i can not find what public transportation toward the location, maybe because the keywords was wrong, so i did not get the answer. so, i asked my brother. He told me how to get there, from Lebak Bulus bus terminal take Patas AC 16 Lebak Bulus - Rawamangun and then get off at the intersection pramuka. From there, take public transportation M 01 and get off right in front of Gramedia. then, go through overpass available.

Well, there's nothing wrong while crossing expand your view of the sky area which is on the right and left. Well .... you will not regret going over the bridge. We can be satisfied with a good view at the sky ...... It's beautiful ...

And finally we are at Gramedia Matraman which is the largest bookstore in Southeast Asia. It's great you know .... Prove it yourself.

In addition to using Patas AC P 16, you could also take another alternative. especially those who are not patient enough waiting P 16 coming into the terminal and also stand by approximately half an hour looking for passengers. Well, you can use Kopaja P 20 Lebak - Senen. Get off at Senen bus terminal , then take Patas Ac Ciputat - Senen. Get off at pramuka intersection. Continue to take public transportation M 01, get off in front of Gramedia. Or from Blok M, but I just do not know what number the bus is.

To return home, take public transportation from Gramedia M 01 and get off at nearby intersection. From there, you are able to go to Blok M first and then take metro to Lebak bulus or use Patas Ac Ciputat - Senen. Get off at Lebak Bulus bus terminal.

Writing tips from Su Rahman

After hundreds of articles and poems he wrote, Su Rahman eventually wrote about tips and tricks in writing that he had been involved with for a long time. perhaps in the late 1990s, some of his writings has been published in some mass media in Jakarta. As I recall the writing was very simple and possibly that's what caused the mass media is willing to publish it. Writing about making money by being as sparring partner for boxers who want to compete in a championship with illustrative images of people in black and blue. It was funny indeed, but yet his writings were published in a media. And several short stories that first time I saw hung on his bedroom wall. But now is not there anymore.

In the first part, he explains that we should be honest and should not think about the language whether it is in accordance with standard language or not, which is important is writing about what is in our minds. Writing for the purpose of sharing. No matter whether it will be appreciated or not. The next thing also mentioned that we can publish our writings easily and free. Now there has been many media that can be a place for the writings of all of us.

As for the second part, he tried to share about finding and exploring ideas for our writing. According to him, in fact the ideas or the idea to write are so many and they are everywhere (just like dust ), for example ranging from daily events or simple things that often go unnoticed. My family's cat

My family actually do not like cats very much, but we often have cats or at least a cat. We also have several fishes in an aquarium. The cat usually female cat and it gave birth, so we had several cats.
But lately my family only had a young yellow cat. It did not want to go out, it was a lazy cat – we always said that especially my mom. Even he did not go along with other cats around my neighbourhood. We were sometimes upset about its behavior. He spent most time at home, in our kitchen. He was not so naughty as a cat. Even though we do not love him but we take care of him quite well. But at night we kept him out side of our house.

Soon my little sister found out why he did not want to go out. There is a big yellow cat always chases after him. My cat was afraid of that big cat. Several times I got to know that he was beaten up by that cat. Oh poor you, my cat.
He was so afraid and he did not fight the cat back. Once he was bleeding cause of the cat’s claw.
Three days ago, our bathroom smelt bad. There was a carcass around. We ignored it then the smells become very bad finally we tried to find it.
It was in our bathroom. My brother saw a cat’s leg under the cupboard. There is a cupboard in our bathroom. Perhaps he was chased after his enemy then he run and hid there but he was unlucky. He was strangulated the cupboard. He died.
We buried him in our front yard.
Bye my cat……..

Hanuman

Well, first time I knew Hanuman all I that he was a monkey nothing special about it. If I’m not mistaken he was in Mahabharata and Ramayana story. He was in the story.

Just like other monkeys I think he was.
But, then Pak Anand Krishna made a book about him. In his book, he wrote about Hanuman as a spiritual CEO. And this morning, in D Fm radio, Pak Anand and mba Maya Muchtar had a talk show about the book. The book is “Hanuman Factor”. Pak Krishna told us that we should learn from him.
Hanuman was a good listener, he also learnt by doing and watching. He was also a loyal character.
Hanuman was not just a monkey, he was a representative of noble character.

A short biography about Hans Christian Andersen

A native of Denmark, Hans Christian Andersen is one of the immortals of world literature. The fairy tales he wrote are like no others written before or since. "The Steadfast Tin Soldier", "The Snow Queen" , "The Swineherd" , "The Nightingale"

Hans Christian Andersen was born in Odense on April 2, 1805 in a one-room house ( now Hans Christian Andersen Museum) in Hans Jensens Stræde and lived here a short time from 1805 -1807. In 1807 Hans Christian and the family moved to another house, Hans Christian Andersen Childhood Home, in Munkemøllestræde 3-5 in Odense, where he lived from 1807-1819.

When he was 11 years old, his father died (26. april 1816) and he was virtually left alone. He went to school only at intervals and spent most of his time imagining stories rather than reading lessons. He could memorize very easily and learned some of his lessons by listening to a neighbourhood boy who was in the habit of studying aloud. He memorized and recited plays to anyone who would listen and imitated ballet dancers, acrobats or pantomists.

To put an end on this, his mother apprenticed him first to a weaver, then to a tobacconist and finally to a tailor. Hans Christian knew these occupations were not for him. The only things that held his interest were the theater , books and stories. When he was 14, he decided to go to Copenhagen. Few monts after his confirmation on the 4 September 1819 he leaved Odense and seek his fortune in Copenhagen.

There followed three bitter years of poverty. Hans Christian earned a little money singing in a boy's choir until his voice changed. He tried to act and to join the ballet, but his awkwardness made these careers impossible. He attempted to work with his hands but could not do this either. It never occured to him to return home and admit defeat.

At last, when he was 17, Andersen came to the attention of Chancellor Jonas Collin, a director of The Royal Theater in Copenhagen. Collin had read a play by Andersen and saw that the youth had talent. He procured money from the king Frederik 6 for Andersen's education and sent him to a school near Copenhagen. First in Slagelse and later in Elsinore (Helsingør). His teacher, a bitter man, treated him harshly and took delight in taunting him about his ambition to become a writer. Finally Collin took the youth from the school and arranged for him to study under a private tutor in Copenhagen. In 1828, when he was 23, Andersen passed his entrance examinations to the university in Copenhagen.

Andersen's writings began to be published in Danish in 1829. In 1833 the king gave him a grant of money for travel and he spent 16 months wandering through Germany, France, Switzerland and his beloved Italy. His works were poems, plays, novels and impressions of his travels (he always brought a rope, because he was afraid of fire). Andersen was i the periode 1831 -1873 on 30 travels to other countries. Hans Christian Andersen lived nearly 15 years in other countries. " To travel is to live..."

In 1835 Andersen published 'Fairy Tales for Children' - four short stories he wrote for a little girl, Ida Thiele, who was the daughter of the secretary of the Academy of Art. People, who had read the stories - adults as well as children - wanted more. Andersen published 168 fairy tales in all. He wrote the stories just as he would have told them. Although he never married and had no children of his own, he was at his best as an interpreter of the nature of children.
Hans Christian Andersen died on Aug.4, 1875.

I take this writing from a book named bookworm mysteries. in my opinion it's a good book. here, i copy it for you

Did you know that it has been found out that socially active married people tend to live longer than less sociable separated, divorced or single people?

A study made showed that happily married women and men had the strongest immune systems and were the most healthy.

Being in constant contact with people and friends contribute to health and longevity as well. Men who participate in social activities as least once a week outlived men who did not. People who reveal and share the traumatic events in their lives were found to be happier and healthier.

Does this mean that by confiding in someone else, we can achieve long term physical and mental health?

It was also found that people who have been pessimistic at the age of 25 suffered more serious illnesses in their lives, and they seem more likely to get colds. Does this mean that an optimistic attitude can help to fight diseases?

Scientists have also suggested that a little love might be a good cure for a cold. They say that patients who were trained to be optimistic developed more active natural killer cells than the other patients.

How can a thought influence whether you get sick or not? There is evidence that the brain and the immune system actually communicate with each other!

So, be hopeful and active. Who knows, you might not need to see a doctor for a very long time and maybe one day in the future, we might be able to cure ourselves of diseases with the right thoughts!

I used to attend aa gym lectures, he is one of popular islamic lecturer here in Indonesia. Now that i remember one of his lecture about ownership. He said that we as human has nothing. Things we have such as; house, car, job, children, etc do not belong to us. they are HIS. they are His loan.

although those are not ours but we must take care of them well. take a good care but do not get bound. Aa gym said parking man method. the parking man does not mind if the owner of the car or motorcycle take his vehicle since he is aware that they do not belong to him. they are the owner's.

by relizing that we have nothing, it will give us a feeling of lightness if things are taken from us. Things even myself, my body is not mine.

Two days ago after having conversation with my beloved friend, i wanted to ask him about my self. About how far i have gone in my spiritual journey then i thought for a second. Have i started to walk on the journey? if not, so i haven't gone anywhere.

that kind of thought made me cancel my question for him. have i started? or i just watch others to walk on the journey? sometimes there are many question in my head about many things. and i know that to find the answer i must be in silence. i am lazy to do it. i have gone nowhere. Bapak Krishna said whether you like it or not you will walk on the journey yourself. that's true. there is no choice.

my beloved friend is a good friend. He often criticize me through his writings, that's his way to motivate me to walk on. even though sometime he wrote quite hard however he has good intention.

thanks my beloved, keep on criticizing me.

The book is really good eventhough i haven't bought it yet cause some reasons but i trully believe the book is very good and i need it.

Well, Alhamdulillah sometimes my friends on face book write it on their's status, so i am able to know it. This morning mba Maya Muchtar, one of my friends quoted one of the Message.

The message is : Let not the comforts on the way keep you away from your destination. Enjoy them, but keep walking

We must not stop just because the comfortable that we get, sometimes uncounciously we stop because of the comforts. Mahamaya reminds us not to. We must keep going whatever we get.

The last 10 day in Ramadhan

Well, it is already the 21st day in Ramadhan it means Iedul fitri will be in 9 days. During the last 10 days there is a night called lailatur qadar (the holy night). It is believed that no body knows when it comes exactly. But Muhammad The Prophet said that we as muslim should prepare ourselves even from the first day of Ramadhan by upgrading our ibadah more over at night. someone who meet that night will be in peace and believed as a very lucky one.

But on these last day, a lot of people (including me) make a crowd in the shopping centre to buy new clothes for the whole family for iedul fitri. Ya, here in Indonesia, Iedul Fitri synonymous with new clothes, food and also greetings.

Hopefully I get better in this Ramadhan and in the future.
